OUR BELIEFS
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and is the final authority for our faith and conduct.
The Trinity
We believe in the one true God, existing in three Persons as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Son
We believe in the pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, earthly ministry, crucifixion, resurrection, and literal second coming of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is as active in the world and Church today as in the lives of the first apostles, and the gifts He has given to the church continue to operate.
Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and we believe in the fall of mankind as recorded in Genesis.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is only possible through Christ’s death and resurrection; He took on Himself the penalty for our sins.
Baptism
We believe that all Christians should follow Christ’s example and command to be baptized in water after their conversion experience.
Spiritual Power
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an act following salvation which empowers a believer for evangelism and service in the Kingdom.
Healing
We believe that God is able to supernaturally heal our physical bodies. We believe this does not exclude God’s acting through natural means such as medicine and doctors as provision for our healing.
Communion
We believe that all Christians should partake of the Lord’s Supper (communion) as Christ commanded.
Worship
We believe that the purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy intimate fellowship with Him forever. Thus, we believe in worshiping God with one’s total being as set forth in the Bible.
Laying of Hands
We believe in the laying of hands for confirming a call of God to ministry, imparting spiritual gifts, experiencing the infilling of the Holy Spirit, ministering healing to the sick, and for dedicating children to the Lord.
The Church’s Authority
We believe that the Church has been given authority over Satan and his demons, which were defeated by Christ but continue to work in the world.
One Universal Church
We believe that there is one true universal Church, made up of all genuine believers and comprised of many local churches, all under the sovereign Lordship of Christ Jesus.
Fivefold Ministry
We believe that God has called, commissioned and equipped the five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers which are given to the Church.
