Is every believer called into the ministry?
Five hundred years after the Reformation the church still struggles with the concept of equipping and releasing every member of the body of Christ into ministry. Even though body ministry is a clear part of the New Testament teaching, the clergy/laity and secular/sacred divides have kept believers in their seats while the professionals do the ministry.
The awakening beginning to stir across the globe has several common characteristics but one of the most notable is that believers are beginning to awaken to the fact that we are all called to full-time ministry. The priesthood of the believer echos the heart of God that all of His people would operate as priests and ministers, bringing the harvest. The time of waiting is over; it is now time to fulfill the call of God.
